My Disneyland Album

Back in December 2017 Creative Memories released the Imagine Collection.  I was so excited when I saw the Album Coverset as it was perfect for my Disneyland Album. I couldn't wait to get this whole collection.



My husband Michael and I went to Disneyland in 2012 and it was absolutely magical!  Since this Imagine Coverset was released I have been wanting to get started working on my album but things have been busy with moving house and lots happening in my business.  We were getting organised for our March Retreat and I thought it was about time to get started.  We then had a Virtual Crop that gave me lots of inspiration and I am now about a third of the way through.  I have loved putting this album together as I've been re-living the trip. I can see myself pulling this album off the shelf to browse lots in the years to come.





This is my opening page for the album.  The photo was one that came with the package we got of shots taken from photographers around the park of us while we were there.  This was just one of the bonus pics but I thought it was perfect for the title and got it blown up to 10x12.

I created this page using the CM Border Maker System with the Star Cartridge.  Using black behind and turning the cut stars i placed them on an angle to create this look.  The ABC Stickers are the Black Script ABC's, which i think worked perfectly for this title.  If you are creating a title page like this try blowing your photo up to 10x12 - it's looks great!





I was so please at how this page turned out.  It was a sketch challenge we handed out to the girls at our March 2018 Retreat in Normanville.

I created this page using the Wildflower Recipe Template from CM.  It is so versatile and I have seen so many pages created with this template that look so different.  I'm looking forward to teaching how to use this layout at a mini-workshop soon.

I am also looking forward to creating some more pages with it to show you in my blog.

There is so much I love about this page.  Firstly...It's the Disneyland Castle in the background - our first view of it...and I was as excited as a little kid.  That was so special. 

The base paper here is from CM's Stone paper pack. The recently released the Timber, Stone and Cloth paper packs which i really love.

The other elements are from the Imagine sticker and paper packs.  










Making this page was a lot of fun. It was a challenge at our recent Virtual Crop.

June Whats New at Creative Memories

Creative Memories have just released their new June product and I'm excited.  How fresh and bright do these papers look.  I've ordered the entire bundle and can't wait to have a play and show you all what i create with them.  You could use them for Summer pages, which to be quite honest, we are probably just getting around to printing out now in our Aussie Winter.  They could also work well with spring flowers, fun and funky birthday parties and so much more.  The pretty pastels would work well for little girl pages, and the funky bright stripes, chevrons and dots would work well for boys, especially with the new Playland punches which includes the new dinosaur punch. Planning a trip to the USA soon, or maybe you have been recently.  Well this Star-Spangled album coverset and matching Red White & Blue Star Spangled paper pack would be perfect for that album. Themes are a Dream

How would you like co-ordinating Album covers that match your album theme? Well CM have just that, but for a limited time!  These album covers are only available til the 17th December.  The themed packs (paper and stickers) will be around for a little longer, but if you want the album cover I suggest you order now to avoid missing out.
